MARCO POLO GROUP slurry tankers GMP1A belong to a wide range of agricultural trailers of R3a category, with a maximum design speed of 40 km / h for which an approval certificate No. PL * 4759 * 00 has been issued in accordance with Directive 2003/37 / EEC of the European Parliament and of the Council.
GMP1A type vehicle meets the requirements of the Road Traffic Law, the Machinery Directive 2006/42 / EC and all relevant health and safety Norms:
- PN-EN-EN-707+ A1 Agricultural machinery. Slurry Tankers Safety requirements.
- PN-EN ISO 12100-2012 “Safety of machinery. General design principles. Risk assessment and risk reduction”.

A distinguishing feature of GMP1A tankers is a self-supporting structure in which the tank and other components are inseparably connected and mounted on a single axle wheel. The entire steel structure is hot-dip galvanized which guarantees longevity of the tanker. The advantage of single-axle suspension is the agility and ease of maneuveringv of the tanker.

Accessories
On special request (at extra cost) the tanker can be equipped with additional elements:
- rear lid opening with two mounting brackets- outlet and suction,
- tubular fill level indicator,
- a ladder with a platform to facilitate access to the top of the tank,
- mechanical agitator inside the tank is driven hydraulically,
- soil applicator with drag harrow system with a operation width 3m
The size of mounting bracket, latch and mounting bracket of suction hoses can be increased to the size 6 “(Ø152 mm) and use a vacuum pump with increased efficiency.
MARCO POLO GROUP slurry tankers are in the group of the machines in which the energy needed to fill the tank and to empty it is provided by a vacuum pump. It generates a vacuum (vacuum during filling or overpressure during emptying). It is possible to empty the tank gravitationally. Each slurry tanker is equipped with a cylindrical tank made of 5 mm thick steel welded on both sides.
The tank is hot-dip galvanized. It has inner rings reinforcing rings of T-bar and additional stiffeners under the supports supporting the tank.
- The tanks are equipped with high performance and reliable BATTIONI PAGANI rotary vane vacuum pumps. Power consumption initiates the power take-off of the tractor PTO. Control of suction and compression phases – manual.
- The vacuum pump is protected against intrusion into the contents of the container by two METALTECNICA overflow valves: the siphon valve and the main shut off valve.
- The vacuum pump suction outlet is connected to a silencer – an oil recovery fader. This solution reduces the amount of impurities entering the pump during field spill and significantly reduces noise – the effects of the pump operation.
- The tank is protected by two safety valves: overpressure (0.5 bar) and vacuum regulation (- 0.8 bar). Actual pressure in the tank indicates the manometer.
- The tank mounting bracket are equipped with latches brass double flange latches. The outlet latch is opened hydraulically unidirectionally. Closing is automatic when pressure is removed. The suction latch is opened manually by means of a lever.
- Perrot type connection system of suction hose for quick connection.
- Spreader with splash plate, circular flat “top” – operation width up to 14 m.
